1. Sheet One is the first full-length disk of skittering minimalist techno from Plastikman. Shortly after it's release, I recall there was some controversy over the cover after a young man got arrested on suspicion of drug possession on account of the album art looking like a sheet of blotter acid.

4. Hawtin adopted his 'Plastikman' incarnation in , releasing the single "Spastik" and parent album "Sheet One", going on to release a number of albums and touring a live show for the next decade. In Hawtin released a series of monthly inch singles, entitled Concept 1, which, alongside the work of Robert Hood and other producers Missing: Ovokx.

Jan 02,  · Released in October on NovaMute, Sheet One brought Windsor, Ontario’s Richie Hawtin‘s Plastikman onto the label’s roster, Daniel Miller‘s imprint effectively licencing the album for the UK and Europe from Hawtin’s own Plus 8 label.. While Sheet One became notorious for all the wrong (or right) reasons by the CD sleeve’s recreation of a perforated sheet of LSD tabs, with the Missing: Ovokx.
