  4. (MIA): The Complete Anthology songs This CD gets you so close to Darby, you can feel his poetry vibrate, his Lexicon at work. This guy really writes and the Germs is the muscalization of his dark, sad and vibrant feelings of what is for some people to be alive and Darby makes you get it.

  5. May 10,  · I still have the (MIA) Complete Anthology CD that was issued back in the 90s. While it's no audiophile presentation, it is about as good as these songs are going to get in my opinion, very listenable. Joan Jett was new to production, and this was a punk band recording on a small label, so I doubt the actual master tape is a sonic marvel.

I really like some of the songs in it ("Forming," "Lexicon Devil," "We Must Bleed," "The Other Newest One," "Caught In My Eye," and "My Tunnel") -- but others are disappointing, whether from Darby Crash's heroin-soaked Tuvan throat-singing style of warbling (which shows up so much -- it kills some otherwise excellent riffs -- I say "kills" because it ends up a.
